Nick Ronan is an IRNE nominated actor and award-winning storyteller. He has appeared in three Tennessee Williams World Premiers, originating roles in The Remarkable Rooming House of Madame Le Monde, Aimez-Vous Ionesco? andAmerican Gothic.
Theatrically trained and a student of Linklater, Nick earned a B.A. double major in Performance and Film from Emerson College. Auditioning for Edward Albee and getting cast to workshop a new play under him in the University of Houston’s Series for New Playwrights helped to ignite Nick’s early passion for acting.
Nick’s breakout performance on stage in Danny and the Deep Blue Sea earned him a Nomination for Best Actor (IRNE Awards) from the Independent Reviewers of New England. His versatility as a performer has taken him from interactive theater to regional tours, commercials, industrials, network TV, and independent film.
On screen, Nick is best known for his portrayal of Marine Corporal Tom in the acclaimed period war romance, The Secret Nobody Knows. He received a nomination for Best Actor (Blackbird Film Festival 2018) for his role as Detective Taylor in the psychological thriller, Vinyl Underground.
Nick has trained with some of NYC’s most renown acting coaches, including Austin Pendleton, Bob Krakower (Master Class), Ted Sluberski, Lee Brock (Master Class) and at The Barrow Group and Upright Citizens Brigade.
Originally from Houston Texas and the oldest child of two English professors who encouraged his creative pursuits from an early age, Nick’s formative years were spent riding horses on a ranch in Mexico, playing imaginary games, and immersed in the world of competitive club soccer, appearing on the Texas Olympic Development Team.
Nick’s company, A Night of Fireflies Productions, has won numerous accolades, including 4 Best Dramatic Short Awards, and his films have screened across the U.S. and internationally.
